Valley Voices has had a persistent presence in Kings County during times of great need. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, our rural, low-income farm-working communities were disproportionately affected. In 2021 we secured funding from various partners and our team launched an impactful COVID-19 outreach initiative. With our Public Health partners, we have hosted over 120 pop-up vaccine clinics and collectively administered more than 3,179 COVID-19 vaccines. We have provided the community with over 71,788 packs of face masks, 64,518 hand sanitizers, 24,044 rapid antigen tests, and 4,774 PCR tests to date.
