In 2020, Valley Voices secured a contract with Kings County to conduct 2020 Census outreach, targeting hard-to-count communities within the county. We exceeded expectations, canvassing over 6,800 homes in our first 15 days. This crucial work significantly increased response rates. Through our tabling efforts at Alma’s Flea Market, we were able to register and “count” families in the Tri-County areas of Kings, Fresno, and Tulare.
